More content, more pretty
Hey beloved UltraStar Deluxe blog readers,
as you already noticed our website was (and still is) updated. Not just more content will be available when I’m done with all the design stuff, also the link between the community and our blog will be improved. I hope that more people will do skins or even better fine songs released under a Creative Commons license. Don’t forget to ask the band before you want to do a song for them, at first it is polite to do so - and on the second it’s crazy how many licenses are available nowadays, so make sure they really released it on their on will. Some updates on available tools will be made, a better documentation (yes even better than your local copy of documentation.pdf) some AJAX (Jay will force me to do that) and finally I’ll do profox a favour and fix all errors the W3C throws at me.
As of today we also have some new sub domains to make everything even more easy, check customize.ultrastardeluxe.org to download new skins and game plug-ins. This blog here is reachable via blog.ultrastardeluxe.org and one more, but hush - not done yet 
For the Linux users who want to help us (you’ll especially help Tobi to do something else besides of coding) just check our board we have some good information on how to start and how to help. For the Mac users I have some bad news, we haven’t seen Eddie for quite a while we just hope he’s either busy or has no internet - okay that’s nothing to hope for, but we just hope nothing serious has happened with him. And if you read this Eddie, we wish you all the best and hope to see you soon - cause we miss you 
Also some a new server for us is in sight , thanks to Jay who seems to know a lot of kind people who know even kinder people who own some server storage. So our beloved development server will come back online when he has some hardware to put into that huge server room, which leads me to donation’s. At first thanks to all the people who already donated, we won’t waste your money (that’s why we haven’t spend it for omgDutchs try to throw out merchandising) - we’ll use it for serious stuff like buying hardware for the server and the costs of the url for instance. So donate what you can, small drops form a lake!
Uhm, merchandising right - let me know if you want some good designed stuff - if more than let’s say five people want some then I’ll try to please your needs (black hoodies anyone?).
That’s it for now, more news will come surely. I’ll also try to force some people who haven’t written here before to tell you what’s new on the Linux build, cause they can explain it in more detail than I ever could.

Just found out by accident that my song “Northern Star” is included, and was even linked from your front page. I think it’s great for independent artists like me, and for open source projects as well. It would have been nice to be notified, but the license doesn’t require notification, just attribution. Thanks again, and I look forward to trying out the program.
