Progress with the port of UltraStar Deluxe to Mac OS X: With the necessary libs installed through fink and FreePascal, the recent sources from SVN build with make. In addition, a double clickable application is build with “make macosx-app”. There are still a number of rough edges and issues, but your feedback or help through the forum or the irc channel ultrastardx on quakenet will be appreciated.

as you might have already noticed I’m trying to improve my Finnish language skills a bit, because Tronic from UltraStar-NG has found an interesting article about Frets on Fire and our USDX in the biggest Finnish game magazine Pelit. The author of the two site long article, Jouni Utrainen, really did a great job on research - as far as I can read in the translation he got everything right, did his own screenshots and also explained what isn’t working (at least at the moment).
